Hey all,
Looking for some help on this one. I have an Alaska Cast Console II. Firing it up this year, half of the stove top is warm and half is cool even when on setting 3. Turning on the fan will also blow cold air out of the cool side and warm out of the warm side? I performed maintenance cleaning over the summer on it. Im so confused.

sounds odd- kind of dual zone. did you take off the distribution blower? is the entire heat jacket warm?

When ya start to see some results you'll know where. ;)

Everywhere & Anywhere...You left a lot of fly ash in there trapped that is insulating and holding back the heat transfer.

Hepa Filter or shop vac w/ a drywall dust filter bag should be running constant for whenever the landslide commences.

Giver Hell

did you clean it out prior to firing it up this season? Did you clean the entire burnbox of all of the accumulated ash (ceiling, walls, floor). The heat jacket is behind the stove- it is a bump out pathway that your distribution blower blows air through
