I was vacuuming the section behind the blower motors for my Keystoker KA6. It hard and sounds like metal.

Looks like a bone of some sort????????????

I'm thinking between the grates. Not sure if that means I need to take them all out and redo everything or what.

Is everything still moving smoothly?

Seems to be. I just cleaned the boiler so I'm just firing it back up. If need be I'll do more to it this weekend or next week.

Try a magnet on it to see if it has iron in it.

Break it in half. Does look bone like.

Without a closer look,I would say it is a white ash clinker.Odd shape,may have been a flat slab,or an amalgamation of fines that fused together.Clinkers can become glass- like,and that might explain that it sounds metallic,but is non-Magnetic.I don't think your stove is coming apart.

It's probably the long, lost stoker bone. I found some inside my Gentleman Janitor.
