Hi Folks,
My DVC500 combustion blower motor has been squealing. Lately, it seems to be getting worse. I'm assuming that the bearings in my motor are stating to go. Has anyone replaced this motor? If so, do you have a part number for Mcmaster, MSC, Grainger, etc, that you could share with me so I can get a new one on order? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

Have you lubed it with a white grease aerosol and a drop of SWF oil.

I have not. I did not notice an oil port on the motor.

Looks like $90 gets you an exact replacement. An option.....

Ablumny, Thanks for the response. The motors you sent are for the Draft motor 3-21-08639. I need one for the combustion motor 1-10-08332.
Thanks coalnewbie. 230 seems steep for that motor. I'll keep looking.

Well Kevin, the poor horse farmers approach might still work for you ...

Sprayed on the open bearing end.
I would urinate on it before spending that money on a cheaply made motor.
That stuff works miracles for me. Of course, spray a very little and perhaps for a second, switch the motor off for safety. As for me, I would not care, just spray the damned stuff, it would not need much. SWG oil for the powervents is great as well but mostly for high temp stuff and it is $35 a bottle. That part of the motor will be quite cool. In the spring get the motor serviced at a motor shop.
