I have had this in mind for a while but finally got around to it today. I added a hose bib on the coal bin to dampen the top layer. By this time of year it is dry as a bone and gets pretty dusty when I pull it to the front of the bin with the concrete rake. Seems to help quite a bit, and I'm sure it will come In handy for other stuff too.

Sorry it's sideways!

I like that idea! I just raked my bin, coal has been in there since July, dry as a bone. It gets a bit dusty.

I see you also have the handy beer opener attachment on your coal bin. Another great innovation!

WNY, that's a good idea about oiling your coal. Gave me an idea. I have 3 gallons of turkey fryer oil that my wife wants me to get rid of. I think I know where it's going.

It's about time, I had to put my mouth under the bottle opener to keep from spill'in my beer!
