Coal stoves can jam too but only if there is something in the coal, you can avoid this by screening it. A screen half way down your hopper or on top of it. Half way works better because its always buried and wont cause a lot of dust when you pour the coal in.

Iguess I should clarify . The feed auger itself didn't jamm up the pellets bridged or jammed in the hopper. So you had a full hopper cold house and were digging like a gopher to get to where they were hung up in the hopper. After a few nights in a row of this I got smart and oiled the hopper with some crc350 and that fixed it for about a month.
