yep read the manual I guess the draft motor speed is governed by the pressure switch so I guess I'm back to needing a pressure switch I will order one today..

Did the new pressure switch actually increase the draft motor speed as the manual said?

If on failure of the draft switch the direct vent slows down allowing fumes to exit the stove, that seems a pretty bad safety feature. Seems to deliberately make things less safe.

Whooda thunk it, thank goodness for the manual, and very glad to hear you got it fixed. I wonder if that isn't why they changed the design, because that can be a deadly situation. Be sure to have working carbon monoxide detectors if you continue using that stove.

The $55.00 switch listed here prior would of protected all just the same.
For $424.00 you could of bought me a round trip flight ticket and I'd of came and hooked it up and had some beers together afterwards. :drunk:

SOMETIMES MONEY ISNT EVERYTHING BUT THE BEERS WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT :D :D :P
