So A Little Over A Month Ago I Installed A ST8-VF8 I purchased at an estate sale for $30 put a new distribution blower, new fire brick and a new set of door gaskets to make sure I have no leaks and it running great. However, I have the three piece glass front door and I managed to Crack one moving it with the loader. I sealed it with 1200deg rtv and am running it but my wife would like me to replace it does any one know where I can find new glass or ceramics?

Also I own a trucking company where is a place I can buy bulk coal?

We love it!

Welcome to the forum DIB!

Nice old Harman you got there. Stove glass can be bought online. I got mine at;
http://www.woodlanddirect.com/

As far as coal goes, it depends on where you live. If you tell us what area of the world you are in someone on here will know where you can get coal.

I'm in Orwell NY, half way between syracuse and watertown. I have a semi tractor and a 53 foot van trailer so I could go about any where. There are 6 of us willing to go in together to get a load.

Welcome aboard!

It's a great stove, but please make sure you clean it regularly. Particularly underneath the collar where the stovepipe hooks in. Flyash will accumulate there and could choke off the stove.

If you need a manual, let me know.

Does it have a parts section? I could use a manual.

Thanks

I can leave ny if it is better, I could pick coal up at any coal yard in pa if the price is right. Bagged coal here is going for $280 a ton.

He has a box van trailer, if I understand correct.
That will only haul coal on pallets. And $280.00 isn't a bad price for a ton of bagged.
If you use a coal broker it may be easier for finding a better price.
Not very many breakers do bagging and the bagging adds a good premium.
Lehigh is one such breaker which just started bagging operation...and coal is reported to be excellent. :)

Bagged coal is roughly $200 per ton picked up. Kimmel's has a ramp to load van bodies, and Coopersburg Bagging might also.

I am not sure if Lehigh is actually doing Bagging, or just having Coopersburg bag it for them. My guess is the latter, but a phone call would confirm.

I have one as well.
As you say, the door glass will distinguish the insides more so than the model number. :)
