Can't Fault Your Logic On That One,My Friend ! Yes,the Quiet Time is creeping slowly in. After this Winter,I may be wrong, but I've got a feeling that we'll have More Folks Reporting In On Projects that they're doing. I really look forward to that ! Even if it's how to store an extra Ton or Two,it's going to be Worth It once Fall gives way to You Know What!

I'm still here but haven't anything to add. I don't know when I'll stop.. Last year it snowed 3 inches here Memorial Day. Same ole dull stuff for me. Add coal once every 3 days. Empty ash pan every 2 days.. House stays at set temp 24/7.
It's been raw and temps in the lower 40's... I love this stoker I got last fall. Burnt hand fired for 20 years or more. I wish I had this back in the beginning. Darn it.

I think this is "SHUTDOWN-EVE" for me. Forcast is for 70's and even 80 on Friday, after tonight low's only going down to the mid 50's.

I've had a good long first run with the new-to-me Yellow Flame, Jan 20 until now.

I may actually have to mow part of the lawn this weekend. 35 right now, but it is 20 degrees not too far from me in the Adirondacks.

37 this morning in the heart of the southern coal region. I have 1/2 a hopper of coal left and the stove is cranking this morning. The 10 day forecast says upper 60's to mid 70's with lows in the low 40's. We always seem to run about 5 degree's cooler than forecast so far this year.

I was hoping I could shut down when this coal runs out some time today but Momma has upper respiratory problems with chronic asthma and lung infections and if she gets cold it really kicks up. Gotta keep the house around 72-75 all the time.

Looks like I'm gonna have to get more buckets of coal today and be burning probably till at least Memorial Day unless it does some drastic warming up.

I've officially run out of Pea coal. I was going to switch back over to nut for another week or so as it's still getting cold at night but my wife said, 'It's time. Let it go.' So for the past two days I've not done anything with it. Stove is still idling around 180* and it's slowly using up whatever is in the hopper.
