Longest Burn Yet

A Coal stoker furnace or stove controls most operations including automatically feeding the coal. They are quite similar to any conventional oil and gas units and easily operated for extended periods of time. They commonly use rice coal but may use larger sizes like buckwheat. They can be used as primary heat, supplementary heat or have a dual set up with your existing oil/gas furnace.

Bet after last night the 36 drops to 18 hrs. I can only assume that your are distraught for not having the 'Classic Memco' on line!!! It really sucks when a hand fed boiler performs better than expected. The damned Memco won't even make a good 'Yard Ornament'. Best decision you have made......now, for the transition to a stoker......as you get older and hurt more when you get home......................... Even Smitty admits that no brain cells were harmed with the transition. I am confident that a team of Clydesdales couldn't pry his fingers off that stoker of his! :!: :)

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a 'piece of human solid waste' by the clean end." More true today....

Have to get more coal , the only thing is the ground is so wet that Ill have to get it with my pickup so the coal truck doesn't get stuck in my yard , I can put 1 1/2 in my dodge ram should be good till fall (think I said the same thing in Feb when I got 3ton over what I thought was more then I would use all winter 8ton ) But if I was burning oil this winter I would be in the poor house!!!!!!!!
