Proper Fan Switch and Timer Settings for AF150?

Since I have tied furnace into current duct system (pieces from old plenum, 8x24 duct, had to neck that down to 8x18 to fit oil plenum) the fan sometimes comes on for a minute or so every now and again. Did not have this issue when heat was more free to escape from plenum into basement. Happens most often shortly after a timer run but not always associated with this.
I upped the FAN ON setting from 125 to 135-140, which helped, but still does it from time to time. I have not changed the FAN OFF setting, which remains at around 95.
I also pulled one pin from timer, now it's on 1:45 every half hour.
Suggestions? Pull another pin or 2? Up ON temp? Bigger duct so heat gets into house via gravity flow more easily? (likely the best solution but not in the cards just yet, have some more pressing issues to sort first)
