Outside Coal Boiler Business for Sale

A Coal stoker furnace or stove controls most operations including automatically feeding the coal. They are quite similar to any conventional oil and gas units and easily operated for extended periods of time. They commonly use rice coal but may use larger sizes like buckwheat. They can be used as primary heat, supplementary heat or have a dual set up with your existing oil/gas furnace.

500lb in 3-7 days is not that good, maybe pushing the low end of 75,000 btu, but is that as low as it goes?

Gosh, Just my opinion.... I could be wrong.....but.... I'm sorry, but that doesn't look to be the best designed coal burner, not even close. Where are the cast iron grates? Where is the ash pan? How do the ashes shake? And then, he says he's got 110K invested in 18 units.....that's $5,555 per unit in materials? I see about about half that. And, it's not a closed system? I don't care how much insulation it has, it's going to have massive heat loss. Are they ASME? Doubtful. See any reviews? Can you find it on the Internet? No & no. This looks like a home made nightmare & he's trying to get out from under it before anyone wakes up.

Pusher or pusher block would indicate it's a stoker, hard to see but in the picture gallery it appears that door is for what must be the ash bin. Above that must be the bed.
