I am getting interested to start stoker stove business. I am thinking that I should buy stove at whole sale prices and then sale them at retail prices near my area in a shop. I felt there is no such a shop and the demand of stoker stove is very high.

alot would depend on your location to define what you wish to market and sell, the guys at leisure line are very kind and very helpful at allowing people like you to make this attempt (they also have a section in this forum which you can use to learn and start communication with them), also Larry at Chubby Stoves (who does manual coal burning units) would also allow someone to make a good effort at a start up. If your north of NY than you will surly want to have a product that burns wood pellets or a coal stove that accepts and burns wood nice (even if it cant be advertised as such). stay away from Harman because they don't allow you to make profit and though their product is good (their is a million others equally as good with a much kinder attitude).

Hi jj and welcome to the forum.
To be your own ""boss"" is a very good thing:your the ""boss"". But don't get locked with ONE company only. Better to have the choice: 1-2-3...better for you and better for your custommers. If you place all your hopes in one company and get some ""irritations"" with it, your done... Just talking with 25 yrs of real experience.
Stoker guys on the forum seem to love their stoves and maybe you could think about hand feed stoves like Hitzer as an exemple, even a couple of antique ones on the floor can bring different custommers in. The most important is to get custommers happy
Having anthracite in stock to sell and to show to custommers would show to visitors that your a Pro. :)
