Thanks again guys!!! Should have seen the piece of rebar I was using with my sledge hammer to bang it out mushroomed the ends over that's how hard I had to hit this thing to break it free! Had her running last night woke up to a house that was a sauna!!! took my shirt off and went outside at 5:30 this morning to cool down! Haha. I Have to figure out where to keep the temp settings now so it's not so damn hot in the house. Guess that's a good problem to have though! Lol, so far really liking to new/used stove!

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Glad you got her going. The vertiflow stoker is pretty hardy but likes to be disassembled and cleaned in between seasons. fines build up all around the pusher block. Sounds like your fork is the right size. Don't leave coal in the hopper at the end of the season and don't use wet coal. Damp coal is ok. Those hoppers are $$$ to replace. The next time its empty clean it well and coat it with rustoleum rusty metal primer.

I'd clean it out totally. Then I'd drop some oil down onto the block area and on the block. See it if goes with out any coal at all. This is what I do alot. I had issues like that.. I think Coal dust etc get's jammed up some times. The oil trick and no coal to free it up worked for me.
