Leisure Line Pocono - Lbs of Coal Per Day??

Being new to coal and researching stoves.....
In a 1200sq ft basement, well inuslated newer home, no heat exchanger, maintaining 70 degrees in basement only, how much coal roughly would you guess it would take per day. Just trying to understand all the elements and costs before pulling the trigger on buying a new stove this weekend. Don't want to be surprised after the install.

A lot of factors can change the #/day.
You can throttle it down to probably 1#/hr (maybe less) or up to 3-5#'s/hour depending on how much heat is needed.
Say 1#/hr or 24#/day min setting = $2.50/day x 30 days = $75/month (Assuming $5 = 50#bag)
Say your normal Heating bill is $250/mon and now you only run it 1/2 the time with the Coal, that's Saving $150 - $75 for coal = $75 saving for one month.
Every heating situation is different. Also depends on how much heat you get upstairs to satisfy your other heating sytem, if you can keep it from coming on, you are already saving money.

Many variables but I would guess 40-50 LBS per day when its in the 20's. A Pioneer may do the job.

Thanks! I'm currently feeding a Kuma gravity feed oil stove in the basement and here in eastern pa on the lowest setting in the basement it's keeping it just comfortable. With oil being so high and knowing I'll need to turn up the oil to the stove, trying to figure out the savings and justify the 2k+ cost of a coal stove.... imagine for the cost, I'm going to get a lot more heat off the coal.
