got an alaska gear motor thinking itd work in replacing part because of loud bearing noise and come to find out the top peg has a gear or spiral cut in it and the alaska skeleton motor does not. keystoker wants $112 and $15 to ship. anyone have one or know where to get one?

How many rpm's is gear motor?

I know it's a stoker 1293 keystoker. Rpms I'm not sure of. Thanks guys

There is more to picking the motor up somewhere else.....shaft diameter, shaft length, flat spot on shaft, rpm from the gear reduction....probably 2 rpm. Grainger Supply has them also, just make damned sure you have the same creature.
Do a search on Grainger.com for your intended replacement. ALSO, check the frame mounting holes, some are not compatible. If you cannot get satisfaction, please call the fine folks at Keystoker and it will be shipped same day..... :idea: :idea: :idea: :!: I have not seen them at Tractor Supply, however many pellet stoves use the same motors....just remember to check the shaft size and diameter,

I got a motor from a pellet shop. The only difference is the shaft on old one is grooved and the new one is a round smooth rod shaft :( ugh!!

Jim's suggestion will solve you problem afford ably, as will Graingers. LOOK AT ROTATION< GEAR REDUCTION AND SHAFT DIAMETER...please :idea: :idea: :idea:

I'm referring to the one and only one I've bought to begin with. Just wanted to throw the grooved info out there to see if grainger sells the ones with grooves
