I also noticed that Leisure Line now also offers an optional cold-air box for the Anthrakings. Does anyone know if the Anthraking is double-walled like the 710 or just insulated on the sides?

The rear of the Anthrakings are double wall, the sides use the insulation and jacket with a partial deflector plate forcing the air up the tubes. We tested the furnace to zero clearance on the sides and rear, and 4" off the exhaust of coarse everything falls under local code for solid fuels. But I can say most heat goes out the top of the furnace into the home not the chimney. I am looking at possibly a domestic coil tempering system above the front door but I have to do some testing to see how it works . With all the tubes they have a lot of surface area for a small footprint. We finally have our brochures done for the boilers and furnaces and they are being sent out to the interested dealers.
Also there is a filter box option that holds a standard 20" X 1"filter it can be made to easily accept a thicker filter if someone desired it can also be assembled to multiple configurations . Thanks,Dave

I think the filter box option is a great idea and should expand the market for the Anthraking. Especially for those of us who would install it as a free-standing supplemental furnace.

Like stated the Leisure Line Anthraking filterbox is multi configuration .

As I get set up for the next season,some observations. I must have missed this original post. If the AK110 gives you enough heat then 18 coils (vs 26 for the 220K) gives incredible efficiency although it's big with the external box. The temp over the inspection door reaches 600F and I strapped on a water coil from Ebay that seemed to work brilliantly but removed it as my theory is use the stove for what it's best at, producing hot air,I need everything it's got when it is cold. This is a big house and it's amazing it does what it does. On the external box I put an Aprilaire as a prefilter and then a Filtrete 1900 (Lowes). The electrostatic Aprilaire acts as a dust prefilter that has a huge capacity and avoids weekly changes of the $20 main filter. This is the Cadillac of hot air stokers guys - expensive and worth it. Strike that - this is the Lexus of stoves, let's be fair to LL, Caddies are now c rap.
