We just recently purchased a Reading Lehigh Stoker and installed in our basement. We have been burning now on and off for a few weeks and have to say that we are very pleased with the performance of the stove to date. Thus far we have had absolutely no need to fire up our old forced ait furnace but with that said we do realize that we wont make it through the entire heating season with out some form of forced air help once the North East Ohio winter kicks in in force. Our forced air furnace is fueled by propane which is getting pretty costly these days. We are kicking around the idea of installing a second sroker on the main floor on the house in a small sunroom off of our dinning room. We purchased the Reading Lehigh as it is a very astetic looking stove and fits nicely with our finished basement. The problem is the size of the stove, we simply don't have the wall space in the sunroom for the Lehigh. We havent been able to find another storker with a lower profile. We would need something similar to a Vermont Castings Vigilant but like the convience that our hopper fed Lehigh provides. Anybody out there know of any manufactures that have a product similar to what we are looking for?
Thanks
