anyone ever put on a bigger fan on there magnum for more ductworking in your house

or any pictures of your ductwork would be cool

hi stine,

oddly enough, I was looking for a larger cfm distribution blower last evening in a grainger catalog. i'd like to find one with a rheostat built in, because too much distribution air will gradually defeat your purpose considering the surface area of the stove delivering the heat.

here's some pics of my modest ducting to the second floor...sure beats the hell out of the "i'll just open up the cellar door" theory.

i blocked 1/2 of the air coming out the front of the stove with bar magnets, the rest goes up the 6" duct. works very well.

the pictures are from a post I made last year.

idid the same thing with duct work,only thing I did different is neck it down from 6 inch to 4 ,and have 3 4 inch lines plumbed into the floor(air seems to move alittle faster ,and plumbed a 4 inch fresh air intake to the stove

but I am also looking for a bigger blower
