I'm not sure that will work without slotting the bolt hole to allow for the length of the bolt between the double steel. Also, how would you keep the bolt from turning? Have you tried this?
The extension box is 2" deep so all you will be going through is the weld nut and 10ga extension box so roughly 3/16 " . I have done it on our furnace ,I haven't tried it yet on anything else but don't see why it wouldn't work on the stoves . I will also try to get pics on Monday for this as well .Dave
