Yes, the slider is thermostatically controlled on the ash pan door. It would be some work to add the dedicated outside air supply., which is why I was trying to get a better feel for the results, first. I would probably add the input air "hood" to the lower, side of the stove, and reconfigure the thermostatically controlled damper to that area.LsFarm wrote: But if I remember correctly, you have a hand fed stove with a slider air vent on the ashpan door? you will have to get creative to make a duct to feed the
