Alaska Coal Stoker Stove II
My Alaskan Stoker II was installed in my house in 1976. I bought the house in 1982 and that is all I've heated my huse with since then. I've put on two motors since 1982 and put a glass in the door. I've also installed a hot water coil and that is what I use to heat my 900 square ft addition with radient heat and I couldn't be happier. I burn about 3 1/2 ton of coal a year and my wife likes the home at 74 degrees all day long. The stove had a hot air kit installed on it and I piped into my hot air unit.
Looking over the origional paperwork that came with the house it was installed in 1976 by an outfit from Middletown,Pa.
I wouldn't be without it. I get my coal from Shermans Coal in Higgens Pa and they treat me like gold.

^ I would LOVE to see pictures of your setup and the options you are talking about! I need to make mine more efficient.
They are making the kodiak stoker II again? Nice. That is just like my old stoker II but with a smaller door.
