Thanks to everyone for the excellent input and ideas! :)

Here are the new stoves, available at your local LL dealer by special order (only one or two days from order to delivery though!), don't be surprised if they don't have a flier or data for them yet, we still need to send out the materials.

Introducing the Lil' Heater (suggested Retail $2,100)

Looks mint!!

Great addition of the adjustable legs too! I have bricks (to keep it out of the swamp) with metal shims under them. That's a great idea!

If you ever need torture-testing for corrosion resistance, I'd be happy to lend you my laboratory (basement). :D

I wish that was out 2 years ago ... I'd have bought that instead. Great price!

Nice looking stoves. Nice touch with the refection in glass too. I'm still waiting for the boiler though. :)

What's the difference between the Independence and the Pioneer? They seem to have the same specs and look the same. The stoker on my Pioneer looks a little different, but there's got to be something else I'm missing.

As you noted the feeder on the Independence is different (manual adjustment) and therefore no Coal-Trol TM is provided (stove is more affordable as well).

Also the Lil' Heater although it looks the same as the Econo it really isn't . It no longer has the fan in the hopper . It now shares the same fan as the rest of the stoves with a plenum in the back and the blower mounted down low .
