It seemed the breaker broke a few weeks ago that makes the rice coal. So every coal dealer in the area is mixing rice and buckwheat to stretch the supply of rice coal. Currently there mixing it at 35% buckwheat and 65% rice. I was leary of using it cause I tried buckwheat once before and all it did was making crunching noise from the feeder. But since I really don't have a choice in the matter. I've found that this mixture actually burns rather great in the mag. I had to increase the feed rate so that the pusher blocker opens a little more. Then I was able to turn the feed motor down to running for 2 mins and then having the feed motor off for 18 min.I have my feed motor wired to a seperate timer and my combustion motor and air distribution motor run all the time. This keeps my house in the mid 70's with temps in the low to mid teens at night.
