Hyfire 2 Retrofit With Coal Trol

A Coal stoker furnace or stove controls most operations including automatically feeding the coal. They are quite similar to any conventional oil and gas units and easily operated for extended periods of time. They commonly use rice coal but may use larger sizes like buckwheat. They can be used as primary heat, supplementary heat or have a dual set up with your existing oil/gas furnace.

I have a Hyfire 2 purchased from a dealer in 2004. It was a demo model so am not sure of when it was made. It initially had a thermostat that didnt function very well as it was attached to the stove, and the stove being in the basement. I removed the unit and wired it up fro manual operation. Its a great stove but the manual temperature adjust is its only drawback.
Can this stove be configured with the coal trol?

Thanks for your help

Hi Phil,
You bet we could make that work. You might need to do a wiring change or two, but it sounds like you can handle that. if your interested, you can call at the factory. Ask for Jerry 570.752.1811
Thanks for asking,
