yes, but if i don't put liner, what about creosote? what about velocity? will the stove performance well? then if no need why sweepers always want to sell liner?

Sweepers get $ to install liners. yes you will have creosote from wood, whether you have a liner or not.

Ok and no creosote from coal?
what you guys use for sweeping à rectangular chimney? are you using à round chimney hedgehog Or a rectangular one? (last are expensive so i'm wondering if i can clean mine with a round one?)

it's not my chimney, but it's look same, with full of creosote..

Round one is fine, just scrub it around and knock.down as much as possible. Turn your shop vac on before you start and wear a respirator if you have one, it's dirty work.

here is my inside chimney, i did sweep but on the left size from middle to the top, there are still full of creosote, i would say 6.5 feets high and 9 inch deep...

i will try to make it fall but i think i'm gonna need help of a professional sweeper...

Can you take the cap off chimney and get a picture? Or stronger light if it's a fixed top.
