Harmon no longer makes coal stoves. In fact, they no longer make wood stoves. They only make pellet stoves now.

Legacy took over Harmons line of coal stoves.

They are great stoves, i called AHS a while ago about this, don't think they are coming back great stoves.

Just not enough demand, and they are very expensive.

I have one, that i will eventually sell, don't need anymore, great stove.

The best and only in your house/living space stocker I would recommend, and i have worked on a few of them.

There are other Direct Vent models still produced by a few other manufactures yet.

AHS/ Legacy was working on prototype of self contained stoker/hopper that set outdoors...have to look and see if it is listed in their current product line...

Bought one 2 years ago for about $500 and it has been a fantastic stove ! Heavy for sure LOL but heats the house ! Cleaned it out when I got it and just keep it maintained and it runs smoothly only thing I found is if you have any coal that is wet it condensates on the loading lid and any water may drip from the hinge down to the electronic board (don’t want that to burn out !) but I think I’d buy another if the price is right, parts may be getting harder to come by could be the biggest problem

I am running a dvc 500 this year replacing an carpet push Alaska with a power vent . Much better and quieter. The old Alaska is a good and reliable stove but can't compare to the dvc 500. I am looking for another one if I can find one at a good price .

Those of you with a dvc is a wall heat shield with air space needed? Or am I fine with just a cement board directly over the studs and tile? I don’t really have the space to put an air gap because of my wall thickness and the 8” maximum harman dv wall thimble
