https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Waxman
Henry Arnold Waxman (born September 12, 1939 in Los Angeles, California) is an American politician and will be the next Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. He has represented California's 30th congressional district (map) in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1975. Waxman, a Democrat, is considered to be one of the most influential liberal members of Congress. He serves the cities of West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, and parts of the city of Los Angeles. Before his election to Congress, he served six years in the California State Assembly.
For those that are unaware Mr. Waxman could be defined as a radical environmentalist at least IMO, at the very least he has supported and pushed through legislation in the past such as sponsoring the safe climate act of 2007 which has not made it out of congress yet:

As I have already pointed out numerous times Obama has the same views as Waxman. No new coal plants unless they can store the CO2 which at this point in time can't be done. The fact is without coal plants energy prices are going to sky rocket, Obama has said that himself. As I see it things are going to get much worse. Mr. Waxman of course won't be effected, check who he represents.

I hope they are smart enough not to do anything to increase energy costs in the current economic situation. If they make a big mess of things they have no Republicans to blame anymore.

DEMOCRATS LOVE HIGH ENERGY PRICES They figure its forced conservation.....Pay no attention to what hardship it dumps on the general economy which is all but dead right now.

I'm trying to be an optimist. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. What if Waxman hits his head and gets amnesia?

Then there is plan B, drink massive quantities of alcohol to ease the pain. :shots:
