A couple pics of the basement where my coal sat for a few decades. Thanks to the encouragement here it was worth it to haul it all out in spackle buckets. Five trips in my 1/2 ton pickup- I have helper springs but it looked pretty heavy about 1/2 full each trip. I estimate maybe 2 tons. There were bumps in the floor where the old coal boiler used to be bolted down. On the campus of a hundred year old school.

Last load, wall is curved, and the old chute window barely visible.

Best way up these stairs was 2 spackle buckets full at a time.

You could dim the lights & film a Stephan King movie there.
