Thanx,Jack! You nailed this one out in Fine Fashion! I'm giving a link to their Contact Page if it'll help. They're reopening April 2nd,so I may make a call to see if they can modify their Website to be able to join as an Associate Member and cover some info on the Roof Repair/Replacement Campaign. The building in question that needs the help with the roof will be shown in this Contact Link, Thanx,as I know this was hard for Jack to ask us for help. This Mine Museum is really worth it!

Jack, could I join if I were to stop in when they open up for the year or won't there be anyone there to handle membership?

What they need is a PayPal button on their website for soliciting donations and for online membership. I don't know how much of a cut PayPal gets but I believe it would be worth it because if someone has an impulse to help out while on the site they are a few mouse clicks away form contributing. Sitting down and writing a check and dropping it in the mail takes time and effort and people will put it off and forget or maybe reconsider when the next shiny object gets their attention.

I totally agree here. Maybe someone could help you set up a PayPal account or some other means of donating online. You will get a lot more members and donations for sure! I don't even use checks anymore. So for me to join I gotta make a trip for a money order, then fill out an envelope... damn I don't have any stamps... gotta go to the post Office now... you get my point

Come tomorrow that's exactly what I'm going to try and get them to accomplish. They need Membership and Donation Support Links created in the Website Framework in order for this to work for most Folks in Today's Digital Economy. I'll keep You All posted on this effort. I told Jack that I would help him,and Damnitt, that's what I'm going to do!.....Hambden Bob
