According to https://www.cleanenergywire.org/factsheets/what-g ... -pay-power
The cost is 0.3022 euros/Kwh * 1.22 $/euro = $0.3687/Kwh. I thought New England prices were bad at $0.252/Kwh.

We're at $0.12 a kwh here in WI.

Funny how the progressives can talk out of both sides of their mouths. One side says save the environment at all cost. Other side says put up a bunch of wind turbines in the plains states and kill untold numbers of birds. All while destroying the natural beauty of that country and taking away precious farmland. It's been proven that turbines also lower the quality of life for residents in the area.

Who cares though. The people who are driving these policies don't live there anyways. We should have two United States. Coastal States of America and the Central States of America.

That's my rant for the day,
Lee

PA has 36 coal fired, 37 gas fired, 5 nuc, 19 hydro and 47 renewable. Coal is being steadily replaced by cleaner, cheaper gas and renewable is the largest growing segment for power generation. They'll be mining anthracite until there is no more for the carbon industry, luckily heating coal is still a hobby for big anthracite mining companies.

My point being that we use cleaner anthracite coal to heat our homes and yet we’re the bad guys?
