Jim Sant xxxRun over by Lokie a small steam locomotive . ash Sherxxxminer Rush Of Coal Up Shute . C Mund xxx Dynamite blast up in Shute . Jo Mc Hugh miner cave in up shute .Note shute is here Miners Are At Coal Vein or Face Of Coal . George Mac xxx minerRoof Fall at Coal Face . Jon Minnxxx miner Gas Explosion at work face . Pete Murp xx Fire Boss Checking Shute Loose material buried him . No outside deaths . Mak Manxx Caught in coal crushing Wheels in Breaker .He Was Pulverized into Hamberger . Joe Bed xxx oiler crushed in Breaker machinery . John Bertxxxx Run Over Mine Car .Did not pay attention . Vince MC gorr xxxx a door boy Run Over By Loaded Coal cars . A Door boy pre 1915 would open close a double door to Control Ve A large ntilation at the mine Kid sat 10 hours in the dark Lis tening for approaching coal car .Fell asleep killed run over by coal cars .A large amount of deaths Where Caused up the Shute By Roof Falls .Next Gas Exp losions . Damn Jack, that's sad--BUT I was REAL careful around that mule in #9 mine---cute lil varmint that he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't want to become a statistic!! :)

Not to mention black lung or miners asthma that eventually got the ones that walked away.

And to think mining deaths are #3...logging deaths are #1 in this nation!

I know what that the latter is like, darn Stihl Chainsaw darn near took me out!
