Number Nine 9 Pictures From Jack
In September I redid the entrance to the Number Nine Mine. Lots of divots and holes. I worked on this for approximately 60 hours. 2 coats to fill in holes and 3 coats of white mortar, no need to paint. Not too bad for a 75 year old man!! Enjoy.

Ya done real good old timer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The portal entrance date to 1931 I believe .The walls are 18 inches thick .Most every thing was Plumb and Square .The Lehigh crew was proud of there work .Inside the mine is and Arch. The Radius of the Arch Was absolutely correct .Probably done before 1931 .Again these men took time and Were Proud Of there Work .Jack

Great job, Jack! Not so many people left with those sort of talents. They're lucky to have you involved. I have wanted to take a tour of the mine for some time. One of these days.
