Why would you operate a natgas peaker plant???? They have

plenty of wind energy... Battery cost 40 million $...

Can't beat free energy...

That the missing link of course storage of energy to be used later. Im glad to see it succeed, but Im concerned about what happens in the transition time until storage is common place and even more storage is possible. My concerns is what is more dangerous coal fired electrical generation due to emissions or nuclear due to life span of spent fuel. We are going to need large producers coal and nuclear for decades yet

Almost all energy comes from the sun so it is unlimited ...

The problem is how to utilize it...

Solar and wind are the most common and we have to

harvest that first...

Cost is the only obstacle now and that is being addressed by

many companies around the world...

Mining and drilling causes more problems , and will be phased

out especially for transportation and home energy use..

Oil still needed for the many products it provides but not to

burn up into the atmosphere.

Will take some years and be slow at first but now were on the

path to this goal. Storage is a key link in this endeavor ...
