The local PBS channel is airing a documentary about silca dust causing black lung. Might be a rerun?

WPSU channel.

the silica dust caused by cutting masonry and concrete are as deadly as black lung but far more costly to control. How many times have you driven through a road repair with a cloud of dust? While I dont think that exposure is deadly if you are a worker who is exposed to it even in a secondary fashion daily look out for the long term damage .

Just as bad as good old asbestos furnace cement in our antique stove restoration projects.

Anyone interested in history Google: Hawks Nest Tunnel Disaster. The incident involved extreme silica exposure levels and results happened quickly.
