Man, I just caught this video, and had to share.
Talk about your Arnold Schwarzenegger of the trucking industry. It's from down under, and the coal this thing can haul, will "almost" make a freight train drool.

Top speed of 36 kilometers ??? That's only 22mph - little more than jogging speed. In a country the size of Australia, I'd have a tough time staying awake. :D

So Paul, ya know how most locomotives are diesel, running electric motors? You would think the mines would've come up with a vehicle like that to haul around the heavy loads. I think some of the huge Titan dump trucks at the beginning of the video were built that way. Each wheel had an electric motor, and under the hood was a diesel/generator that supplied the power. I was surprised to see them limiting themselves with the Kenworth, altho it is a pretty stout looking rig.
