Other Heating: Wishing it was cold enough for coal here....not really

Post by KLook » Thu. Jul. 03, 2008 12:13 pm

Are there any dealers out there that actually have any boilers in stock? I tried to get 2 Keystoker's but was told the wait was 5 to 6 months! If you have any here is your chance to sell them.I am willing to look at any brands as options. I really did not want to build a bin though. Hand firing is not an option either because I already do that with a combo wood/coal boiler.

Last I checked the main forum sponsor "The Fireplace Gallery" had some in stock and a few on order. That's quite a ride for you though, probably a good 8 hours or more. I've only been to Maine once and I forget what it was but if you want to give him a ring:

Phone:(570) 298-2150

Fireplace Gallery
2540 S.R. 29 South
Tunkhannock, PA 18657

Ask for Dan and tell him the Coalman sent you. (probably charge you double :P )
I really did not want to build a bin though.
Not sure what you mean by that, bin is optional for any installation. If you're referring to auger fed boilers you only need a 55 gallon drum.

Try http://www.ruralenergyproducts.com # 419-238-4580 I don't think she had any Harman stokers in stock and shes not a Keystoker dealer. She did have the Harman sf-160,260and 360 in stock, 2 of each. My friend wanted a 260 but the Harman dealers had none in stock in my area. They wouldent even take a down payment or promise one this year. He had it in less than a week.and Yet I sit waiting til the end of Sept. for my Keystoker, 12 week wait when I ordered.
