Some countries will use coal ,but most with increasing use are small

economies with modest demands not the larger developed oness.

One large one ready to shutdown is Navajo San Juan and NGS plant.

"Power from the solar plant will cost about $25/MWh with no escalator," while power from SRP will cost about $36/MWh, and power from NGS will cost about $56/MWh, Ed Burgess, a director at Strategen Consulting, told Utility Dive.

Ease the burdensome coal regulations perhaps. And also remove the taxpayer funded incentives for alternatives.
