My wife does most of the monitoring. If she says it's too cold, I crank the stove up a little. I don't recall her ever saying it's too warm.
Remote monitoring is just a wireless thermometer that sits beside the water pressure tank in the cold cellar.
But I can see why others with fancier coal setups would want more sophisticated gauges, and being able to monitor from afar via a cell phone is awesome.

What model thermostat? Is that on an Android phone? Does it also tell you the current temp of the house? I think I'd like one of those.

It’s a Honeywell WiFi and an iPhone. I’ll have to find the model thermostat and get back to you. It was $100.00 at Home Depot.
