The Coal Rat

Well with the first real arctic blast heading this way I lit the match yesterday. This year I changed starting methods as the EFM is a different animal than the Harman. I'm looking for investors to get in on the ground floor of the new amazing Coal Rat! Yes I know it looks like a tomato can with the top and bottom removed and holes punched along one edge but years of exacting research has gone into the development of this can, I mean Coal Rat.

Simply fill the Coal Rat (patent pending) hallway with wood pellets (yes they are good for something) and hit briefly with a torch and Shazaam! Fire!

Before long you've got a rocket engine flame! Add a small amount of coal (Lehigh of course) on top and then remove the Coal Rat with a fire poker (not included). Within 30 minutes you are on your way. In 60 minutes you are ready for any arctic blast and boiler water is at 180 degrees.

So act today and request your Coal Rat investor kit (only $99.99 shipping and handling is extra.) But wait! Act now and I'll double your offer. Two Coal Rat investor kits! Just add extra shipping and handling.

Great idea ck. I used the same method for getting charcoal lit when I didn't have any lighter fluid. Never thought of it for coal. Do your customers get the tomatoes that were in the cans?

Nice ! Is it available in any other colors ?

I'm sure other senior citizens on a fixed income like myself..... (and FF).....would like to see an optional easy payment plan.

This way we can have a few dollars left at the end of the month to roll the dice and get one of the lucky 18 empty prescription bottles filled.

Dear Rat,
I already have some wood pellets because they are also good for cat litter.
Is it OK to use them in your device after the cat is done with them?
I am on a budget so cost is important to me.

It only comes in silver but turns a lovely dark shade after first use. No easy payment plan but I'd bet medicare would cover it if we called it something else!

Rberq, I can't guarantee performance once the kitty has modified the pellets. We will have to do more rigorous lab testing.

i use pellets myself as the stove "starter", yes they are good for something and make a very economical coal stove starter. i used to heat with pellets (god why, what a waste of $$$) anyways i still have a bag left to this day. scrape away the ash put the pellets over the air holes. light they pellets off, once they are burning open the door and toss a handful of coal on the fire, wait a couple of minutes and repeat. do this a couple of times you have a coal fire for cheap. no way am i spending a buck every time i want to light the stove, besides the pellets seem more effective.a $4 or $5 bag of pellets lasts years, even shutting the stove down every time it gets warm outside

I want in! I'll bet the RAT (really awesome trinket) would light my Axeman Anderson too. Do they only come in tomato flavor? I'd prefer Spaghettio flavor.
