Just an FYI Knoebels closes their full operations for the season on Sunday sept 21st. Which also happens to be the first weekend of the Bloomsburg fair. They are open for a covered bridge festival sometime in october but with only certain things running. The same can be said for Oct. 24 they have some kind of Halloween fest but only a few rides like the Pheonix and the haunted house will be running. As for camping I am not sure when they close that for the season.

They list Winter hours on their campground brochure from November to May, so perhaps the campground never really closes...

OK coal nerds, whomever is going to be incharge of this needs to kick butt and take names. Time to get serious about the timing and plans.

I'm not sure I'm going to make it on the 10th, too much going on.. I vote for a weekend when JC [coal berner] can be around.

The inertia at rest is too strong! I changed my vote to the next popular one and low and behold we have a tie.... if there is no interest from the masses at least we can have the same old faithful get together.
Coal berner, when can you make it, we are waiting on you to make a new date!?

I just voted for 10/24. Any weekend would be fine for me except 9/27, any other week I plan to make unless a last minute problem arises. Who, what, when, where, do we have anything coming together yet?

Lots of good ideas JC.
I'm a little ticked at the "Nerd" thing though.

That all sounds good, especially the yuengling tour. But what hapened to camping at knoebels? Heck, the camping, camp fire, beer drinking and coal nerd talk around it was the most fun...for me anyway. The 24th/25th is good for me. John, I almost didn't recognize you with that pocket protecter.
