I repeat this is more appropriate in a different forum. Your question has been asked and answered but you just don't agree with the answer and want to doomsday this topic. If you want to debate the end of mankind as we know it then please debate away but not on this forum please. There are lots of forums that will welcome this type of thread.blrman07 wrote:This post is more appropriate in a different forum. This is Anthracite Coal News not political doomsday demography.

I do not think this thread is alluding to the "end of mankind". Just the course, if you will, mankind is about to set out on. As far as coal is concerned it has been a very politically loaded subject since the election of Barak Obama. Politics and lifestyle are always intertwined. That's unavoidable because one always effects the other. I like my coal and it is very possible the next president of this country may take it away. I feel free to say that because she has stated that under no uncertain terms. Are we "doomed"? I doubt it but the next few years are going to be a wild ride for sure. I will make no more entries on this topic.

My wife is convinced that the day is coming when we will no longer be permitted to purchase coal. And her fear is that it will come sooner rather than later.

my take on it too, that's why all my work bonuses go straight to TT loads of coal.lsayre wrote:My wife is convinced that the day is coming when we will not longer be permitted to purchase coal. And her fear is that it will come sooner rather than later.
if we're wrong and as others have commented coal is "decriminalized" and back in favor, i'm still going forward with a 21 yr. supply under my direct control.
