Can I put my coal bin outside? Can it get wet?

You can put your coal bin out side. I cover my coal up with a heavy-duty tarp. I have 4, 32 gallons plastic containers in my basement filed with coal. When I need to fill them up again, I pick a nice day, I use 5 gallons pails too fill up. It’s a little work but it’s a lot cleaner. If the coal gets wit outside it wont hurt a thing. I have 3 ft of snow already on top of my coal. When I need coal I lift up part of the tarp and shovel the goal out, when done I throw the tarp over the coal and throw some snow on top of it, to keep it in place.
