Agreed, firewood burning is easy, coal burning takes time to learn, you'll get there.

Yes, the Vigilan 11 is very nice in your installation. A good thing with this stove is that, the stove can be installed in a modern or antique house and it's not the case of all stoves. I wish there will be a stove builder that will take the best from the Vigilant 11(internal damper, long path for the gazes, top loading, sliding ash pan with cover, top loading, nice look...), and from Chubby and Glenwoow stoves and make the very best anthracite burning stove.
Again bravo for the handsome settlement.

This is the only stove that I purchased that was brand new and it kept my house nice and warm during the major back to back blizzards last winter. Of course it is a Hitzer 50-93.
