Hi Keepaeyeonit, nice installation. Do you have a fan syst. to blow the air at the back of your stove? Could these grills be connected to central duct work?Keepaeyeonit wrote:this is my Hitzer 983 insert/free standing crossbreed.
Thanks

Hi Nortcan,I was thinking about a fan to blow the air out but I think it's a safety concern and I have my barometric damper behind the right grill
and did not want to chance sucking fumes out of it, also I have insulation on each side and the back of the stove so it's not real hot in that space.I would not hook it up to any duct because of the flue pipe,If it leaked it would become real deadly, real fast Thanks Barry- Legendsingray

Every guy loves twins right? I have twin Keystoker Hearth girls. They are both ebay specials. What I paid for the two, couldn't have gotten one new one for. Am very pleased. About 28 outside. 72 in basement, 74 upstairs. Neither Stoker working very hard.
This is a Craigslist find. Wehrle No. 118 In the background is a Montgomery and Ward No. 20 hot water heater. (Mini-boiler)

THANKS! I'm heating about 2000sqft of a 30yr old, 2 story brick home. Right now it seems that I'm burning about 40-60 lbs p/day using both stoves. But I'm still tweaking.Keepaeyeonit wrote:Legendsingray, nice setup , If we ever have a second iceage I'm coming to your house. How much coal do you use and how many sqft are you heating? Thanks Barry
