My daughter helped me put 200 bags of nut coal in the basement last weekend. So with the 75 bags I already had in the basement from last winter, I think I'm in pretty good shape. The most I burned during that brutal winter of 2013-14 was 250 bags, plus a couple cord of wood (I have a coal/wood furnace), so unless we exceed that (which I doubt), we're in great shape in 'da U.P. eh? Have about 6 cord of wood split and stacked as well.

Here in New England, the temps are just starting to drop, but gunna head back up. I haven't "re-stocked" ... yet, but will be soon. Hit the teens for the 1st time last night, so I know we're getting close.

usually go thru about 1 ton per month with 2 stoves running when it's really cold. still have about 2 ton in my bin, haven't got any coal yet, temps have been very mild here in Western NY. Local amish bought out my coal dealer, and contract with a guy with a dump trailer to haul about 3 ton at a time. my bin can hold about 5-6 ton.
