DIY Coal Sieve, I had some nut coal get in a batch of Buckwheat, I tried 1/2 inch hardware cloth, it worked but was a major pia, and very slow one shovel at a time, Then I got some 1/4" hardware cloth and cut out amount required for a 3/4 inch opening with a pair of Dykes , and did a grid, this really improved the process, very fast and easy and I was actually enjoying doing it. I put the container on an old night stand, and rocked the stand to and fro, so, if you are ever in a jamb, this works. Please wear a mask.
