I didn't even think about our table from the past till tsb mentioned it,i had to look at the picture to see what he was talking about. We never met Larry & Becky b4 & went from meeting strangers to saying goodbye to some real good friends.
My wife and I want to thank Dave for opening up his house. As soon as you get to their place and step out of the car you know right away why he chose windyhill as his avatar. If you get the opportunity to stop in and visit them try to make it around lunch time. His wife cooked the best lunch!! I remember we talked a lot during lunch but for the life of me I can't remember about what. I can remember everything on my plate and what I had seconds on though.
Dave please thank your lovely wife for the scrumptious meal!!
Once I saw the Crane 404 in person so to speak it's similarities with the VC 2310 jump right out at you. The major departure is the brick lined firebox vrs the removable fire pot. For the size of the stove the 404 puts out an impressive amount of heat.
Also the "boiler in a box" project of putting the EFM in a tractor trailer was fantastic. I got lots of ideas looking at how Dave had it all set up and operating. It was mesmerizing to watch. You couldn't really listen to anything because it was running so quietly.
Again thanks for the invite and the donation of the stove board. I will get it to the ladies house and put it in.

That's so funny you said you remembered lunch/dinner at Dave's. It one thing that I remember the most also. Dave's wife is the "expert" at making dinner. One of the best meals I've ever eaten. Yep!
