I figured it has to be near somebodies back yard, like everything else they are producing more with much less & then we question where all the jobs have gone.

I wouldn't have ever guessed that: "Coal Contractors’ Stockton mining operation is the largest single anthracite mine in the United States, producing about 10 percent of the country’s (anthracite) coal."

Larry, I would "kill" for more of this stuff. I was fortunate enuff to purchase some a couple years ago, but couldn't find any suppliers since. Even called the mine, which was no help at all.

For me it burns really well when temperatures are low outside, but not as well when they are high. It's a winter coal for sure. Not a summer coal. I'll be burning Blaschak for the summer. I don't want to bother with out-fires in the summer months.

So Larry, are you saying Stockton coal is still available to you? I think it comes from "Coal Contractors".

I got a load from Stockton last year. It was good coal, but the coal I got this year from Lehigh seems to have more btu's.

I wonder why the company won't deliver to the North East? You'ld think they'ld make a killing up here.

They might have a dealer in your area. If not, they will sell you a load direct.

Already contacted them last season, Rob. They had no interest in this area. Couldn't even get them to admit they were still in business.
