I wouldn't have ever guessed that: "Coal Contractors’ Stockton mining operation is the largest single anthracite mine in the United States, producing about 10 percent of the country’s (anthracite) coal."

Larry, I would "kill" for more of this stuff. I was fortunate enuff to purchase some a couple years ago, but couldn't find any suppliers since. Even called the mine, which was no help at all.lsayre wrote:I wouldn't have ever guessed that: "Coal Contractors’ Stockton mining operation is the largest single anthracite mine in the United States, producing about 10 percent of the country’s (anthracite) coal."

For me it burns really well when temperatures are low outside, but not as well when they are high. It's a winter coal for sure. Not a summer coal. I'll be burning Blaschak for the summer. I don't want to bother with out-fires in the summer months.joeq wrote:Larry, I would "kill" for more of this stuff. Already contacted them last season, Rob. They had no interest in this area. Couldn't even get them to admit they were still in business.Rob R. wrote:They might have a dealer in your area. If not, they will sell you a load direct.
