I just saw a flock of 10 Robins out on the lawn. Boy are they lost!

I thought I saw some last week but didn't believe it, I think that officially spring is around 50 days away. Close but not yet.

Well it's almost February. We typically will start to spot them the first week or so of February. They must go by the calendar rather than the thermometer.

I gave up trusting Robins as a sign of early Spring two years ago, in January, along a bike/walking path in Saratoga Springs.
While out for a walk, I saw a flock of Robins pecking around at the few small patches of ground not covered by snow.
Yup, silly birds !
