So, I have modified my date twice thus far and still have not fired up. With 68 degrees on Nov 1 who needs coal heat. I am sitting here with the window open at 10:15. New projected date in 11/9. We will see...

28 degrees here today (Bucks County).

Yeah, big difference from Fri to Monday. I actually lit up on Saturday with the expected lows of 21 last night. Glad I did :!: ;)

Looking like Wednesday 11/06/2013 will be it.
Been a lot of days in the 50's and 60's here.
Only had one frost here so far.

a couple weeks ago I lit up and let it run overnight before shutting down just to make sure everything was set to go after oiling everything & reconnecting the flue pipe.

it was too warm then to start up for real but I fired up for the season on Sunday afternoon 11/3 when the temp dropped. About a week later than last year if my notes next to the stove are correct.
